We are a State of Florida Woman-Owned Small Business and are certified as a Qualified Local Small Business with the City of Gainesville and Alachua County. Manley Design is also prequalified for Minor Projects in Work Group 15/Landscape Architecture with the Florida Department of Transportation and is a DBE Small Business with the Department.
C. Elisabeth Manley is the Owner and Principal of Manley Design and serves as the firm’s registered landscape architect, Florida license no. LA6666722. Ms. Manley offers over twenty years of experience in public and private projects with a specialty in park planning and transportation-related design. She serves on the City of Gainesville’s Tree Advisory Board and is the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) representative to the Florida Greenways and Trails Foundation Board. Ms. Manley is a University of Florida Graduate with a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture (2000) and has served as a guest lecturer within UF’s Department of Landscape Architecture.
Sarah McDermott McCown is a Landscape Designer with Manley Design and utilizes her diverse background of experience within commercial, residential, park, and streetscape developments across the state to support design, graphics development, and production of projects. She also leads the company’s social media presence. Ms. McCown is a UF Graduate with a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture and is working towards licensure, having recently passed two sections of the national exam.
Elliot Barth is a Landscape Designer with Manley Design and brings his diverse background in commercial, residential, institutional, parks, and streetscape development to support design, graphics development, and production of projects. Mr. Barth is a UF Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture and is working towards licensure while also currently serving as Florida ASLA’s Gainesville Section Chair.
